Welcome to the competition! This opening session is designed to introduce participants to the event's agenda, key speakers, and judges. It's also a prime opportunity for contestants, investors, and attendees to start networking, exchange ideas, and set the stage for the exciting startup pitches ahead.

9:00 - 10:30A M

Pre-Seed Startup Pitches

In this session, early-stage startups in the Pre-Seed phase will present their innovative ideas. Each startup will have the opportunity to pitch their concepts to a panel of experienced judges, aiming to secure crucial initial funding. Attendees will witness how these budding entrepreneurs articulate their vision, address market needs, and plan to navigate the challenges of the startup landscape.

Networking Break

After the first round of pitches, take a moment to connect with other participants. This networking session allows for deeper discussions about the ideas presented, potential collaborations, and insights into the Pre-Seed phase. It's a chance to build relationships that could be vital for future ventures or partnerships.

11:30 - 1:00 PM

Seed Startup Pitches

The competition heats up as startups in the Seed stage take the floor. These companies, which have already moved beyond the initial idea and are now seeking to scale, will pitch to the judges in hopes of securing funding to fuel their growth. This session will showcase more developed business models, market strategies, and the potential for rapid expansion, providing a glimpse into the future stars of the startup world.

1:00 - 1:30 PM

Final Remarks & networking

Conclude the day with reflections from the judges and event organizers. Final remarks will highlight key moments from the competition and announce any awards or next steps for participants. The last networking session offers a final opportunity to connect with judges, investors, and fellow entrepreneurs, ensuring that everyone leaves with valuable contacts and insights.

Research Poster Contest

A contest that will involve twenty excellent researchers, divided into groups. The participants, coming from the national and international biotech scene, will work on the creation of scientific posters proposing innovative solutions for the problems of the city of Taranto. The winning poster will be chosen by Dr. Guido Putignano and donated to the city as a first step towards the creation of a biotech research and development HUB.
